Moulson and Elias

Elias had this one earlier in the week and I missed it in my travels:

<<MOULSON: FOUR STRAIGHT GOALS OVER LAST TWO GAMES
From Elias: Matt Moulson, who scored the last two goals in the Islanders' 3-0
win against the Kings on Saturday, scored the first two goals in the Isles' 5-1
win over the Panthers on Monday afternoon. (He completed his second career hat
trick with an empty-net goal in the third period against Florida.) Moulson is
only the third player in Islanders history to score four consecutive goals
without a teammate or an opponent scoring a goal. Clark Gillies scored four
straight goals on Feb. 19-20, 1977, and Greg Gilbert did the same on Feb. 16-18,
1988.>>
Bizarre that all three streaks have occurred in February!

Note that is a slightly different record than the one John Tavares tied last
season. Tavares joired Mariusz Czerkawski and Bryan Trottier as the Islanders
who had scored five consecutive team goals (with goals from the opposition mixed
in).
